As a graduate developer at Global I’ve been supported every step of the way by my manager, the entry level manager and, most importantly, my team. No question has ever been too small and within 6 months I’d shipped my own part of our product behind an experimental feature wall, which gave me the exposure and confidence to start working as a fully contributing part of the team – without the pressure of possibly impacting the overall product. After 9 months, I’m now regularly contributing to team sprints and have the confidence to suggest solutions during tech design sessions thanks to the ongoing encouragement of my team.
